Alien Mermaid

This is an original concept for what an extra-terrestrial Mermaid from outer space might look like.
The head is hollowed out, displaying a large brain with two small embryos floating around. When giving birth, the eggs slowly travel down to the tail where they're laid.
The tail is also transparent, showing floating organs and a very large stomach.

These creatures feed off space crew, they use their jellyfish-like vines to attack their prey, shocking them until they're too weak to defend themselves. They then use their thick tentacles that come out of their tail as tongues. They pull their victim inside until they're trapped alive inside their stomach, where they are slowly digested.
